Roadmap Scenarios

Our overall strategy is to enable the externalization of stakeholders’ visions in terms of desired future scenarios together with the development of plausible context scenarios. These are two essentially complimentary types of scenarios. The former relates to the vision of the desired future whereas the latter relates to a set of possible contexts within which we may have to operate to achieve the visions.

The desired future scenarios are high level scenarios that define the desired future states which are also played out within the identified contextual scenarios. The stories of the future scenarios are described in section 7 of deliverable D-8.5.

The context scenarios can both inform desired future scenarios and provide a range of possible contexts. The strategies for realizing them can then be assessed. The revised stories of the context scenarios as well as their analysis can be found in section 4 deliverable D-8.6.
